Artist Exhibition Watch | Juried Art Shows & Open Calls
Why I created Artist Exhibition Watch
As an artist, I found it difficult to judge which exhibition opportunities were reputable and worth the entry fee. With so many online exhibitions and concerns about scams, I wanted a clearer way to research opportunities before spending money to exhibit my artwork. I created Artist Exhibition Watch to organize that research and help fellow artists make informed decisions about where to submit their work and spend their exhibition budget.
Artist Exhibition Watch is a downloadable spreadsheet that organizes juried exhibitions, art prizes, salons and open calls across the United States and internationally. Designed especially for oil, mixed media, and representational painters. It covers realism, portraiture, still life, landscape, figurative work, animals and contemporary impressionism.
Current edition: 221 exhibition opportunities
This edition includes 17 additions and four revised records. Refer to the research date shown in the workbook for this edition’s information snapshot. Opportunity counts and edition update notes will change as the tracker is updated.
Monthly updates: $19 every three months; just $6.33 monthly.
$19 USD includes the current spreadsheet and monthly updates for three months. Your subscription automatically renews at $19 USD every three months for another three months of monthly updates, unless you cancel before your next renewal. This is basically my time and effort to keep the information updated.
Each monthly edition is a point-in-time snapshot as of the research date shown in the workbook, not a live database. Details may change between updates; always check the organizer’s official prospectus before entering or paying fees.

Password required
This spreadsheet requires a password to open and unlock it. Password protection has been tested: the correct password opens the workbook, while incorrect or blank passwords do not. Decryption preserves the workbook exactly.
